Swarozgar Fellowship
A fellowship for young entrepreneurs in the Himalayas building futures without leaving home.
The Swarozgar Fellowship is a 6-month learning journey for youth (18–35 years) from the Western Himalayas who are building or growing their local enterprises. The program offers mentorship, training, peer learning, and network support across sectors like agriculture, tourism, crafts, and digital livelihoods.
Why Swarozgar?
Many young people in the Western Himalayas migrate not by choice, but out of distress, driven by the lack of local opportunities. The Swarozgar Fellowship helps them stay and build. Through entrepreneurship, community support, and practical learning, fellows create sustainable businesses and livelihoods rooted in their own geographies.
This fellowship nurtures early-stage entrepreneurs into local role models redefining success not as leaving home, but as leading change from within.
