Swarozgar Fellowship

A fellowship for young Himalayan entrepreneurs who are building futures without leaving home.

The Swarozgar Fellowship is a 6-month learning journey for youth (18–35 years) from the Western Himalayas who are building their local enterprises. The program offers mentorship, training, mindset-building, peer learning, and network support across sectors like agriculture, tourism, crafts, and digital livelihoods.

Why Swarozgar?

Many young people in the Western Himalayas migrate not by choice, but out of distress, driven by the lack of local livelihood opportunities. The Swarozgar Fellowship enable bold early-stage entrepreneurs to stay rooted and contribute to the local economy. Through entrepreneurship training, networking support, and action-oriented learning, fellows create sustainable businesses in their own geographies.

Our fellowship leads entrepreneurs down a path of confidence to emerge as local role models
