Khojshala
A career exploration journey for youth at the crossroads of deciding what to do next.
Khojshala is a 6-week, action-driven career exploration program for youth in the Himalayan region. Designed for those at a crossroads, it supports young people in discovering self-employment possibilities that are both personally meaningful and rooted in their local context.
The program addresses a critical gap in both information and aspiration. Youth often face narrow career options or feel unsure of where to begin. Khojshala helps them imagine new possibilities and walk away with not just ideas, but clarity, confidence, and a plan of action.
Khojshala uses a human-centred design approach to provide participants with the tools and motivation to explore local livelihood opportunities. Through exposure, hands-on experiences, and guided reflection, we enable youth to make informed, purposeful choices about their futures.
“Through Khojshala, I am understanding what my strengths are, and what I want to do. I think if I take up poultry farming or mushrooms, I will be good at it” - Simran, Khojshala, 2021
